Petalux, a replacement for Givaudan's captive molecule Petalia, opens with a delicate burst of rose petals, adorned with lychee sweetness. The peony character emerges soft and dewy, complemented by the sheer transparency of delicate lily of the valley. This is modern florality at its brightest; fresh, clean, and effortlessly beautiful.

Craft your floral notes around this material for instant radiance and diffusion. It lends a contemporary and watery quality without leaning into classic rose accords. Pair with citrus top notes to boost freshness, or layer with musks to extend its soft luminosity into the dry down.

When reformulating, use Petalux at twice the dosage of Givaudan's Petalia. Combine with hedione for added brilliance or phenylethyl alcohol for a richer rose depth. Experiment with fruity notes like blackcurrant or raspberry to bring out its lychee facet.

Petalux has a fresh, rosy-floral character with distinct peony and lily of the valley notes, supported by fruity lychee nuances, radiating a soft, diffusive glow.
