Helvetolide® is one of those rare musks that can be perceived not only in the base notes but also in the top notes of a perfume. It is considered luminous (like rose ketones) and can have an enormous impact on a perfume even in trace amounts.
With its delicate pear nuance, this musk makes an excellent addition to gourmand-style perfumes.
Helvetolide® has a sophisticated and clean musk aroma with an elegant, warm character, complemented by a distinct pear-like fruity top note, which creates a modern and refined feel.
