Guaiyl Acetate
Product Information:
Guaiyl Acetate, obtained by the acetylation of Guaiacwood oil, is a pleasant, soft, floral, and woody substance. Thanks to its complex nuance of rose, spice, and woody notes, it is an excellent material for extending and fixing rose bases (especially tea rose).
Guaiyl Acetate also serves as an alternative or complement to Vetiveryl Acetate, which has very limited use under IFRA 51.
Guaiyl Acetate offers a soft, long-lasting woody character, complemented by light smoky, balsamic, and spicy nuances, along with a distinct tea-rose note, creating an elegant and sophisticated fragrance profile.
It is used as a primary fixative and modifier for woody-floral compositions, amber accords, and sophisticated leather fragrances requiring lasting elegance.
