Benzaldehyde is the classic almond chemical and makes up 80-95% of natural almond oil. In addition to adding almond and cherry notes to perfumes, when used in trace amounts, it adds beautiful and inimitable nuances to the top notes. For a cherry accord, use generously with Acetophenone.

A strong, sharp aromatic aldehyde; it stands out with bitter almond and sour cherry notes, revealing waxy-spicy undertones and subtle musky-animalic traces in the dry-down phase.

An indispensable top note for gourmand, floral, and fruity compositions requiring almond-cherry effects and the vibrancy provided by aldehyde.
