Nerol has a fresh, sweet floral character reminiscent of rose and neroli, complemented by distinct citrus undertones reminiscent of lemon and lime; it also offers subtle green nuances and sometimes a delicate, waxy or "wet shoreline" quality.

In addition to being vital for the reproduction of neroli and orange blossom oils, nerol truly offers significant nuances by adding a unique freshness to rose essences, in particular. It can also be used to add marine and ozonic notes to a fragrance.

Primarily used to strengthen floral scents and invigorate citrus aromas; it adds freshness, radiance, and naturalness to rose, neroli, orange blossom, and citrus fragrances.
